the Hepatology Service is integrated into general gastroenterology.
A separate Hepatology Unit will be established in the

Academic Activities:
The Department
of Gastroenterology is one of the leading sections in
academic activities in the hospital.
Since its
inception in 1406, about 120 presentations have been made
at various international and national meetings inside
and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This includes
almost 30 presentations in other countries like USA, Hongkong,
Italy, Spain, Holland, Egypt, Dubai, etc.
In addition,
numerous presentations at local hospital level, over 20
publications in local, national and international journals.
